Welcome Note,
From the Diary of our CEO
It’s a privilege to have you join our growing community of clinicians, innovators, and changemakers who believe that healthcare can be improved not only at the bedside, but also through bold ideas, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial action.
ASME was founded on a simple belief:
Clinicians deserve a home where their passion for innovation is understood, supported, and amplified.
Every one of us has seen opportunities to improve the systems we work within — whether through digital health, new models of care, medical devices, research translation, or entirely fresh ways of thinking. ASME exists to help turn those insights into impact.
As a member, you’ll gain access to a network of like-minded individuals, educational events, mentoring, partnerships, and opportunities to develop the skills needed to innovate within — or beyond — traditional clinical practice. Whether you're exploring a new idea, building a startup, contributing to intrapreneurial projects, or simply curious about what’s possible, ASME is here to support you every step of the way.
Healthcare will continue to evolve rapidly in the years ahead, and clinicians must be at the centre of shaping that future. Your presence in this community strengthens our shared mission and brings us one step closer to a more innovative, connected, and patient-centred system.Thank you for being part of this journey.
I look forward to seeing what we will create together.
Warm regards,
Matt Hallam
